Giacomo Austin

Group MLRO and SVP Compliance

Giacomo is an experienced leader in people and change management, having worked in a broad set of roles across different sectors and geographies. He has built up new departments within Compliance, hired and trained full-time staff, managed contractors for temporary projects, and successfully integrated new teams.

Giacomo now manages the Compliance function for Paysafe Group, comprising of a team of 100 staff across 13 different Paysafe locations. He leads delivery of major projects with impact on operations across the globe including selection and integration of new vendors, managing relationships with prospective and existing banking partners, internal software development, process assessment and improvement, and target operating model design and implementation. He is the face of the Compliance department when it comes to dealing with external payment partners, prospective and existing banking relationships, external auditors, and regulators.

Giacomo enjoys spending time with his wife and young son and playing basketball.
