Paysafe’s response to COVID-19

CEO Philip McHugh’s message to our valued partners about our ongoing commitment to you

Dear valued partner

As COVID-19 continues to escalate across the globe, I wanted to personally let you know what we are doing to ensure the health and safety of our people, and the continuity of our operations and service to you.

Paysafe has been closely monitoring the situation daily and following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local health authorities in the countries where we operate. In addition to this, we are acting in line with additional local government mandates as the situation has evolved and certain of our offices in Europe have been required to close.

As a valued partner, I want to share further information on our business continuity and operational resilience, as well as details of some of the precautionary measures we have put in place to ensure the safety of our team members and customers.

Business Continuity and Operational Resilience

Paysafe maintains comprehensive and coordinated plans to address continuity and recovery needs of key operations through a dedicated Global Business Continuity program. We also have taken additional precautions to address the potential escalation of COVID-19, including recent controlled tests across most Paysafe offices to validate and strengthen our resilience plans. These tests ensured we can maintain business continuity under different scenarios, including operating with a decentralized workforce. The exercises continue and have so far been very successful and reassuring, with learnings incorporated into our operational plans.

Employee Wellness

Since the outbreak began, we have been implementing wide-ranging measures to protect our people and communities, while maintaining our support to customers and partners.

Our precautionary measures have included stopping business travel and significantly reducing the number of in person external meetings in favour of virtual meetings.  I apologize if this has impacted our contact with you in any way, but I am certain you will appreciate that these are necessary steps to take given the extraordinary situation we find ourselves in.

More recently, on a global basis, we have activated an extensive social distancing program that sees most of our team members move to remote working beyond the offices we have closed.  For team members who are required to be in the office due to the nature of their role, and only if this is permitted by their local government, we have implemented social distancing best practice to minimize close contact with others.

Fortunately, being a digital-first organization with industry-leading technology and operational infrastructure in place that enables our team members to work remotely, we are able to transition to this contingency program seamlessly and you shouldn’t see any disruption to the service we provide you.

Our ongoing commitment to you

Please know, our commitment to providing you with the highest level of service is unwavering and we will continue to adapt our approach as the situation evolves and demands new measures. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or your usual Paysafe contact.

For now, thank you as always for your continued partnership. I wish you and your entire community, the very best of health over the coming weeks.

Warm regards

Philip
