Award success last year recognised across breadth of Paysafe business including employee engagement, product innovation and leadership in HR and finance

LONDON, UK, 23 January, 2018 – Paysafe Group, a leading global payments provider, rounded off a noteworthy calendar year for the business with a record number of industry award wins. The business received over a dozen accolades across its footprint, including in the UK, Canada, Bulgaria, Austria and internationally.

With its Sofia office named one of the ‘25 most popular offices in the world’, Paysafe continued its momentum by scooping the ‘Best Customer Policy’ accolade from Forbes’ Bulgaria for its leading operations and customer services. Paysafe Bulgaria was also held up as the country’s biggest software company at the Capital 100 ceremony last summer.

Paysafe’s leadership and its teams also crowned a notable year with recognition. Brian McArthur-Muscroft, Paysafe’s Chief Financial Officer, was named ‘Inspirational Finance Director of the Year’ at the 2017 FD Excellence Awards, for his work in overseeing the Company’s acquisitions and integrations, and driving a period of significant change and growth.

Nick Walker, Chief Human Resources Officer, had the honour of collecting the top prize at the 2017 Employer Brand Management Awards, again recognising the Group’s dedication to embed a ‘one company ethos’ following mergers and acquisitions.

Andrea Dunlop, CEO of Acquiring & Card Solutions, was then named the UK’s ‘Payments Pioneer’ at the UK Payments Awards for her leadership, influence and extensive contribution to the payments industry.

Paysafe’s products and services also gained recognition at the UK Payments Awards, being crowned ‘Best Merchant Acquirer/Processor’. The judging panel cited how Paysafe’s evolving payments platform, which supports the global e-commerce market, was being developed with a clear focus on the unique needs of merchants and consumers across different industries. Similarly, Paysafe landed the ‘Best PSP or Acquiring Solution Provider’ accolade at the annual Emerging Payment Awards.

At the 14th Annual International Business Awards – known as "the International Stevies”, Paysafe scooped a Silver Stevie® Award in the ‘Management Team of the Year’ category – ahead of nearly 4,000 other entries. Judges praised Paysafe for the business’s fast growth under its leadership team, as well as for achieving $40+ million worth of synergies during the integration of Skrill Group.

In Canada, Paysafe was named winner of a Glassdoor Employee’s Choice Awards, ranking the company number two out of the 25 Best Places to Work, while PaysafeCard took top spot in the ‘Internationally operating companies’ category of the Austria Leading Companies awards for the fourth year in succession.

Paysafe was also ranked in Deloitte’s 2017 Tech Fast 500 EMEA, a programme that recognises the fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

President and Chief Executive Officer at Paysafe, Joel Leonoff, commented: “To be recognised by industry peers, on so many occasions is a real honour. Most pleasing is the breadth and depth of awards we collected across all levels and areas of our company. The quality and quantity of accolades we’ve received locally and internationally is demonstrative of our global footprint, while our products and services have been held up for the competitive advantage they give to our customer base. All around, 2017 was a fantastic year for Paysafe and the recognition we have received is down to the committed and talented people we have in our business.”
