Paysafe Pay Later scoops three Golden Stevie Awards in Germany

Paysafe’s solution for offering deferred payments is recognized for its product innovation and leadership at the recent high profile awards event

London, UK, Paysafe Pay Later, Paysafe’s Pay by invoice and instalment solution has been named gold winner in three German Stevie Awards: ‘Best New Product or Service’ ; ‘Company of the Year – Financial Services’ and Claire Gates, CEO of Paysafe Pay Later was named  ‘Manager of the Year – Financial Services.’  Nicknamed the Stevies from the Greek word for ‘crowned’, the awards were presented on May 3 at a gala dinner at the Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Hotel in Munich, Germany.

The judging panel, made up of 50 executives, highly praised Paysafe Pay Later as an innovative solution for the growing e-commerce sector in Germany, highlighting its ability to support merchants by giving their customers the opportunity to pay on account. This, in turns, helps eliminate the risk of default on payments and protects both the consumer and retailer. They also commented on how the solution minimises the rate of abandoned transactions at check out, resulting in a positive impact on revenues. Research carried out by Paysafe among businesses in Germany, Austria, the US, UK and Canada last year showed that 41% of them were concerned by the challenge of abandoned transactions to their business.

Judges went on to praise Paysafe Pay Later’s CEO, Claire Gates, for her extensive industry expertise and influence on the next generation of women in the sector. Earlier this year, Claire was also named one of PaymentsSource’s ‘Most Influential Women in Payments in 2019’.
