The timing of deposits depends on how your account is set up. Factors such as the processing platform, funding schedule, and whether your account is set for next-day or standard funding can all impact when deposits are received. Additionally, occasional funding delays—due to bank holidays, batch issues, or verification holds—can also affect when your money will be deposited.

Firstly, make sure your terminal is powered off.

  1. Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the ISP (Internet Service Provider) provided router.
  2. Then plug the other end into the terminal labelled ETH (Ethernet). It may also be labelled as a Yellow port.

If you have a Clover terminal, open the paper compartment using the ridge to pull it open. Follow the image on your terminal on how to install the paper.

If you have any other terminal, opening the paper compartment will be the same. Pull on the ridge to open the paper compartment.

  • Take the packaging off the paper roll so it can unroll inside the terminal.
  • Insert the paper roll thermal side up when you’re facing the terminal printer (If you scratch the correct side, black carbon marks will appear). Please ensure you’re using thermal paper, or it will not work.
  • Once you have installed the paper thermal side up, ensure a quarter inch of paper hangs out. This will ensure the roller has enough paper to grab onto.
  • Complete a test transaction.

If the test receipt is printed, the paper is installed correctly. If the test receipt does not print out, then take out the paper roll and flip it over. Complete another test transaction.

Your terminal requires a specific paper size to operate properly:

For the First Data terminal (FD150), your device uses 2 1/4"" x 85' (57mm x 26m) thermal paper.

For Valor terminals (VL100, VL110, VP500 or VP550), your device uses 2 1/4"" x 55' (57mm x 16.7m) thermal paper.

For Dejavoo terminals (Z8, Z9, Z11, QD2 or QD4), your device uses 2 1/4"" x 50' (57mm x 15.2m) thermal paper.

For PAX terminals (A80 or A920), your device uses 2 1/4"" x 50' (57mm x 15.2m) thermal paper.

For Clover terminals:

  • Clover Compact and Clover Flex terminals uses 2 1/4"" x 55' (57mm x 16.7m) thermal paper.
  • Clover Mini terminal uses 2 1/4"" x 85' (57mm x 25.9m) thermal paper.
  • Clover Duo Printer or Clover Solo Printer uses 3 1/8"" x 230' (80mm x 70m) thermal paper.

If you are unsure which terminal you have, the model of the device can usually be found on the front of the terminal.

Terminals that are wireless, i.e. wires not required for terminals to stay powered on, include:

  • PAX A920
  • Dejavoo Z9
  • VL110
  • VP550
  • Clover Flex

These terminals can also have GPRS (General Packet Radio Service/SIM card). Enabling wireless data transfer to and from your card terminal.

Clover terminals have the SIM card pre-installed. Once the device is activated, you will have the option to activate GPRS service. You will be directly billed by Clover.

For all other devices ordered from Paysafe where you have selected ‘Wireless’. The terminal should already have the card SIM pre-installed and activated allowing you to plug and play. The wireless fee will be billed directly from Paysafe. If troubleshooting is needed to get GPRS to work, you or your ISO Partner should call Paysafe for technical support on 800-324-9825 and chose technical support option.
