Paysafe wins top prize at the 2017 Employer Brand Management Awards
Best Employer Brand Management Programme following a merger or acquisition category
LONDON, 27 April, 2017 - Paysafe, a leading global payments provider, has been awarded top prize in the category of: Best Employer Brand Management Programme following a merger or acquisition and runner up for the: Best Brand Ambassador Programme at this year’s Employer Brand Management Awards in London.
Currently in its second year, the Employer Brand Management Awards recognises companies that understand the importance of employer brand in developing reputation and raising organisation’s visibility in the recruitment market.
Nick Walker, Chief Human Resources Officer, Paysafe said, “It’s a great honour to have our successes recognised by industry peers. The HR challenges of combining Optimal Payments and Skrill, two organisations with different geographical and cultural backgrounds under a common ‘one company brand’ ethos were significant and one of our top priorities. I very am pleased that we have successfully managed to accomplish this.”
“Our Ambassador Programme workshops were also key in defining our company’s core values and the behaviours we want our teams to demonstrate. It is great that our Ambassadors are recognised not only internally but now externally.” added Walker.
Optimal Payments’ Skrill acquisition was completed in August 2015 with an enterprise value of around $1.3bn at the time, three months before the rebrand to Paysafe Group plc. The transaction effectively doubled the size of the business. Paysafe, which now has more than 2,200 employees in more than 20 offices around the world, is listed on the FTSE 250 Index and generated just over $1bn revenue in 2016.
