Petroleum Card Services expands partnership with Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers Association

Feb 03, 2022

Paysafe’s specialized petro payments provider signs endorsement with regional trade association aimed at strengthening member support

Houston, Texas – Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE), a leading specialized payments platform, today announced that Petroleum Card Services (“PCS”), its payment processing solutions provider for U.S. gas stations and convenience stores (C-stores), has expanded its partnership with the Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers Association (CWPMA), the trade association representing independent fuel distributors and grocers in the states of Colorado and Wyoming. Under the expanded partnership, PCS has become CWPMA’s preferred payment processor.

The new endorsement sees PCS leverage its expertise as a leading source of payment processing solutions for the independent, unbranded gas station market to provide CWPMA members with exclusive pricing on business solutions and dedicated member support.

PCS also serves to support CWPMA, which was established in 1934, in its core mission of better representing independent petroleum marketers by partnering with communities as well as state and federal regulators to promote legislative and regulatory action across Colorado and Wyoming.

As a longstanding partner of the CWPMA, PCS will provide association members with exclusive access to special pricing programs and tailored offerings suited to support their day-to-day business needs. Members will be able to take advantage of a wide range of cost-saving benefits, including a rebate program to assist in upgrading payment terminals and POS systems for EMV compliance, discounts on payment processing solutions, and various fraud prevention tools.

Through the expanded partnership, PCS also seeks to further the association’s educational mission by providing collaborative support on trade-driven events, seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions with industry experts. Understanding the challenges that merchants face amid the pandemic’s enduring influence, PCS will work with the association to foster a deeper understanding of market trends and regulatory policies in aim of educating members on how to best navigate the various changes impacting the petroleum space.

Lori Griboski, VP, Petroleum Sales at Paysafe’s Petroleum Card Services, said: “PCS has been a dedicated and active member of CWPMA for over a decade and it’s an honor to see this relationship deepen. We truly look forward to working together more closely and leveraging our accumulated expertise to provide a trusted, transparent, and knowledgeable partnership to CWPMA members.”

Grier Bailey, Executive Director at Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers Association, commented: “CWPMA takes the endorsement of programs for our membership very seriously. The Board of Director’s entered this partnership because of the extraordinary effort and due diligence that PCS has demonstrated, and we encourage all of our members to give this program a good look as a benefit to their operations."
