Getting started & Login
ID 1: What is the Paysafe Wallet Account and how does it work?
The Paysafe Wallet Account is a digital wallet that provides a fast and convenient way to receive and manage payments from merchants. It’s available as a mobile app, giving you instant access to your funds and linking directly to a virtual prepaid card. You can pay online or withdraw your money to a bank account whenever it suits you.
ID 2: How do I register for a Paysafe Wallet Account?
Download the Paysafe Wallet App and register for a Paysafe Wallet Account now. Just follow the steps below:
1. Registration starts with setting your credentials for authentication: email address and PIN (to be used as username and password). You’ll then receive a One-time password (OTP) in your mailbox.
At this point we will ask you to set your data preferences and marketing notifications. You can change them any time from your profile settings.
2. Fill in your address, and your phone number. You’ll be asked to verify your phone number with a 6-digit OTP as well.
Thant’s it! Your account is now successfully created!
To take full advantage of your account, please complete the verification process.
ID 3: Why am I unable to sign up?
If you come across any difficulties upon registration, this may be due to one or more of the following reasons:
- You’re too young. Customers must be 18 or older to use our services.
- You’re using VPN, a proxy server or another connection type that prevents us from verifying your identity. To complete your registration, please disable any IP masking services, connect to the internet using a fixed IP from your ISP or your mobile network, and try again. Avoid using open public connections.
- You already have a Paysafe Wallet Account. Each customer is eligible for one personal account, so registering a second one will not be possible. Use the account you already have, or in case of issues, contact us.
- You’re trying to register from a country where we currently don’t provide service. If you're travelling or abroad, restart your registration when you are home.
We aim to guide you through the whole registration process and will usually display a detailed error message if there's an issue.
ID 4: What do I need to open a Paysafe Wallet Account?
Download our mobile application and click Register to get started. Avoid using VPN, proxy or other IP masking services when registering. You will be asked to:
- select your country of residence and preferred currency;
- set up your login credentials (email address and PIN);
- verify your email via a one-time passcode;
- enter your personal details (such as names, date of birth, etc.);
- enter your address details;
- enter and verify your phone number by confirming the SMS code you’ll receive.
ID 6: What is one-time password or OTP?
A one-time password (OTP) is a unique, temporary code, usually a string of numbers, used to verify your identity during a specific login or transaction. It offers greater security than a static password because it’s valid for only a single use and typically expires after a short period.
You’ll receive your OTP via SMS or email, and it serves as an extra layer of protection when registering your Paysafe Wallet Account or resetting your PIN.
Please note:
- OTPs are valid only for a limited time.
- Entering the wrong OTP may result in delays or require a new code.
ID 7: What is PIN and how can I reset it?
The 6-digit PIN is an authentication method for account login. It is a secret combination of 6 digits used to verify your identity and grant you access to your Paysafe Wallet Account. The 6-digit PIN protects your account and personal information, and should not be shared with anyone, even friends or family members.
How do I reset my PIN?
You can easily reset your PIN by following the steps below:
- Click the Forgot PIN link on the login screen, or the Reset PIN in case you’ve already entered it incorrectly;
- Enter the verification code you receive in your e-mail inbox;
- Set a new 6-digit PIN and confirm it;
Note: Your PIN must be strong. Don’t choose a code that is easy to guess: any repeating (e.g. 111111, 555555, etc.) or consecutive digits (e.g. 123456, 234567, 987654, 876543, etc.), or dates of birth. You'll see an error message if you try to enter a weak PIN and will be asked to enter a new one.
I didn't receive the PIN reset email, what should I do?
The PIN reset link is sent via an automated email, which may often end up in your 'Spam', 'Junk' or 'Deleted' folder.
Some domain providers may apply restrictions on certain incoming emails, so check with your provider to find out if there are any and ask them for assistance.
