Who is the Software Engineer Internship Program suitable for?
Participation in the program can take students in the last year, studying an academic specialty in the field of technology and programming; people who have already completed an academic degree in technology and programming; and anyone who has undergone certain technology programs and courses. The program is also suitable for people without or with little experience who want to be trained in a real work environment by software developers with experience in global projects.
How is the Software Engineer Internship Program structured?
The company’s internship program is divided into two parts. In the first three months, trainees undergo intensive training, which is a combination of lectures and exercises. Areas that focus on theoretical and practical training are: Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Microservices, Angular, Oracle, Kafka, Git, CSS, HTML, JS. Part of the additional requirements for the participants is: to read and practice at home. The goal is for participants to develop their ability to work as a whole team. The first part of the training ends with the development of project based on the technologies mentioned above.
In the second half of the program, interns are transferred to different software development teams and have the opportunity to gain experience by developing a real code. Every successful graduate has a real chance to become one of Paysafe’s employees in Sofia.
Technology stack
Paysafe has experience with organizing Software Engineering Internships since 2011. For over 13 years we provide opportunity to people without or with short working experience to become outstanding Engineers!
Our internship programme was launched back in 2011. Since then 190 motivated young people have taken part and astonishing 69% of them are still part of Paysafe. Unlike many other internships, we aim at hiring on a permanent role 100% of each wave – there is no limitation on the successful hires.
The internship is 6-months long, split into 2 modules – 3 months of intensive training and after successful passing, 3 more months practical work on our actual products as part of our Agile teams.
At the end of the first 3 months the interns are being split in teams and create their own products that are later being used internally – for example they developed an app to show where the different Software Engineering Teams sit within Capital Fort.
