IT Takes a Team Dev Challenge Terms and Conditions

 

1. The IT Takes a Team Dev Challenge (“Challenge”) and Challenge Terms and Conditions

1.1 The Challenge is organized by ‘Paysafe Bulgaria’ EOOD, a legal entity incorporated under the laws of Bulgaria, registered under UIC 175274614, seated at 90 Tsarigradsko shosse Blvd. (“Paysafe”).

1.2 During the Challenge Period, Paysafe shall publish code riddles consisting of two (2) parts. The first part of the code riddle will be visible on the following website: www.paysafe.com/en/careers/it-takes-a-team/ (“Challenge Home Page”). The second part of the code riddle and examples shall be shared with the registered teams upon successful registration in the Challenge.

1.3 Each registered team shall solve at least one of the published code riddles to obtain the right to participate in the Prize Raffle.

1.4 All code riddles shall be prepared and published by Paysafe on the Challenge Home Page.

2. Challenge Period

2.1 The Challenge shall take place from 1 November 2022 00:00 GMT+3 until 30 November 2022 23:59 GMT+3 (“Challenge Period”).

3. Eligibility Criteria

3.1 In order to participate in this Challenge, you must: a) be at least 18 years of age; b) reside in Bulgaria; c) form a team of 2 to 4 people and successfully complete the team’s registration; d) check the first part of the code riddle on the Challenge Home Page; e) fill in your team’s data in the submission form to receive the other part of the code riddle via the registered e-mail address; f) use a platform that works best for you and your team to solve the code riddle; g) send the solution of the code riddle via e-mail;

The above mentioned are collectively referred to as the “Eligibility Criteria”. If your team satisfies the Eligibility Criteria and if your solution is correct, you are an eligible participant for Prize Raffle (“Eligible Team”).

3.2. Paysafe employees may also participate in the Challenge, if they meet the Eligibility Criteria and if their team has at least one participant who is not a Paysafe employee at the time of registration.

4. Prize

4.1 On 1 December 2022, Paysafe shall run a Prize Raffle. The prize winners will be selected randomly through an automated draw performed by a computer (“Prize Raffle”).

4.2 Only the registered teams who have submitted the correct solution of at least one of the published code riddles via HackerRank (link shall be shared by the Paysafe Team upon successful registration) shall obtain the right to participate in the Prize Raffle.

4.3 The prize winners shall be announced on the Challenge Home Page and shall be contacted by Paysafe via the e-mail address registered during the sign up to provide the delivery addresses of the participants of the winning teams.

4.3.1 For taking the first place in the Challenge, one of the Eligible Teams may win gaming monitor Lenovo - G32qc-10, 31.5", QHD, Curved – one for each participant of the first-place team.

4.3.2. For taking the second place in the Challenge, one of the Eligible Teams may win Sennheiser Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones – one for each participant of the second-place team.

4.3.3 For taking the third place in the Challenge, one of the Eligible Teams may win a gaming mouse Logitech - G703 Lightspeed Hero - one for each participant of the third-place team.

4.4 The prizes described herein cannot be exchanged for their monetary equivalent.

4.5 Paysafe shall make reasonable efforts to send the respective prizes to the winners by 19 December 2022 without notice or request. Paysafe reserves the right to extend the term for sending the prizes until 31 December 2022 , if it is required to do so.

5. Privacy

5.1 The processing of your personal data is governed by the Paysafe Group Privacy Policy, available on www.paysafe.com/legal-and-compliance/privacy-policy/. Additional information may be required by Paysafe to verify compliance with these Terms and Conditions. The participants agree that some of their personal information (first name and surname initial; for example, John D Smith) can be published on different Paysafe channels including but not limited to e-mails, Challenge Home Page, social media and online broadcast.

5.2 For the purposes of the Challenge the participants grant Paysafe and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferrable, irrevocable license to copy, use and display any logo, trademark, trade name or other intellectual property (where applicable) which may be published on various Paysafe Group marketing channels including but not limited to our websites, e-mails, and social media pages.

6. Legal Recourse

6.1 Paysafe reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any participant or Eligible Team partially or fully from the Challenge at any time by sending a notice to the e-mail address registered during the sign-up process, if it has a reason to believe that a participant or an Eligible Team has breached or tried to breach these Challenge Terms and Conditions or attempted to circumvent any security or operational procedures.

6.2 Paysafe reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to amend these Terms and Conditions or to end the Challenge at any time by providing a notice to the e-mail addresses of the participants registered during the sign-up process.

6.3 Paysafe reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Challenge in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the Challenge is not capable of being conducted as specified within these Terms and Conditions or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond the reasonable control of Paysafe that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the Challenge.

6.4 The Challenge participants agree that Paysafe, in its sole discretion, may invite some of them to a job interview. Such participants may not be required to complete a HackerRank Test.

6.5 By entering this Challenge, you agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

6.6 All decisions by Paysafe are final and binding and no further correspondence may be entered into.

6.7 Paysafe is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by a participant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Challenge; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process of this Challenge; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of this Challenge or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in this Challenge or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

6.8 If there is any discrepancy between any translated version and the (original) English version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

6.9 Insofar as is permitted by law, Paysafe, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a participant or prospective participant, or accept any liability (whether direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential) for or in connection with the participation (or attempted participation) in the Challenge whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise. A participant’s statutory rights are not affected. However, nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits in any way any liability for death or personal injury caused by Paysafe’s negligence, for fraud or for any other matter where liability may not as a matter of law be excluded or limited.

6.10 Paysafe shall not be liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under the Terms and Conditions, if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control, such as but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, adverse weather conditions, strike, war (declared or undeclared), embargo, blockade, legal prohibition, governmental action, riot, insurrection, damage, destruction, flight or other transportation delays or cancellations.
