Shining the spotlight on Denitsa Datseva for Employee Appreciation Day

At Paysafe, we’re committed to creating an environment where individuals who embody our core values are celebrated and recognised. In March, we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day where we shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who make Paysafe such a fantastic place to work. Throughout the month our teams were encouraged to acknowledge their colleagues’ achievements with virtual badges and messages to show them how highly they are valued.

Denitsa Datseva, who is based in our Technical team in Sofia, received our first Employee Appreciation badge in 2025. This well-deserved recognition reflects Denitsa’s dedication and collaborative spirit. To celebrate the achievement, we asked Denitsa about what this recognition means to her and asked her manager, Klaus Lüdemann, to share his thoughts on Denitsa’s impact.

A well-deserved recognition

Klaus describes Denitsa as someone who takes the initiative, motivates others and builds strong relationships. “Denitsa consistently goes above and beyond to contribute to the success of the team. Her exceptional collaboration and willingness to support others makes her the perfect fit for this recognition,” says Klaus. Denitsa is a real team player, and her efforts make a lasting impact on everyone she works with.

Denitsa’s journey at Paysafe

Denitsa is part of the Web Solutions Delivery team, where she is responsible for the content management system and oversees web development for Paysafe’s marketing websites. Her journey at Paysafe began as a Website Manager, where her collaboration with the Web Solutions Delivery team sparked her interest in a deeper technical role. This transition highlights her commitment to development, a core value that Denitsa brings to everything she does.

Most rewarding moments at Paysafe

Denitsa described Paysafe’s rebranding initiatives as her most fulfilling projects. “I’ve had the privilege of contributing to two rebranding cycles and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see our work have such an impact”.

What the badge means to Denitsa

Receiving the first Employee Appreciation badge in 2025 was a complete surprise for Denitsa. “I wasn’t expecting it at all! This recognition means a lot, not just to me, but to our entire team. It’s recognition of the hard work and achievements we’ve accomplished together and I’m grateful to be part of such a dedicated group. I deeply appreciate my team members for their expertise, unwavering support and open-mindedness. Beyond that, I truly enjoy the camaraderie we share every day—it makes our work even more rewarding” shared Denitsa.
