What is the key to success in your field?

The world of financial crime is a complex and dynamic space, where progress is a mix of state-of-the-art technology with protection of customers at heart.
In the face of ever-evolving challenges in the financial crime space, the key to success is mainly defined by an acute level of curiosity. If this is backed by a good set of technical skills (analytics, risk technology etc), knowledge of financial crime behaviors and typologies – then we know we will remain a step ahead.
What three words best describe your team?
Curious, Focused, Knowledgeable.
What's your favorite go-to interview question?
May sound cliché, but the ‘why do you want to work here’ question, is to me, a fantastic opportunity to be led by curiosity and ask relevant questions on business plans and direction, while directly demonstrating a great level of knowledge on the company and use prior research done for this benefit. It can and should open a conversation where both parts consciously, immediately envision a real collaboration – this always goes both ways!
