Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director
Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE)

Bruce Lowthers serves as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Board of Directors at Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE), a leading global payments platform. He was appointed to the role in May 2022.

A fintech veteran with more than three decades of experience, Bruce has led a comprehensive transformation of Paysafe, realigning the organization around a sales-first culture, streamlining operations, accelerating innovation, and integrating AI to deliver superior customer experiences. Under his leadership, Paysafe has strengthened its position as a premier payments provider for the experience economy, returned to growth, earned multiple industry awards and accolades, and expanded its U.S. presence—including the establishment of its American headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, which has twice been named one of the Best Places to Work.

Prior to joining Paysafe, Bruce spent 15 years at FIS (NYSE: FIS), a Fortune 250 global financial technology leader. He most recently served as President, guiding a $15 billion organization with over 65,000 employees through significant growth, innovation, and enhanced client delivery across merchant solutions, banking, and payments.

An entrepreneur at heart, Bruce helped launch four startups early in his career and two influential industry associations: the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) and Payments 20 (P20). He also held senior leadership roles at eFunds, where he oversaw payment and risk management solutions. He began his career as a certified public accountant.

Bruce is widely recognized as a thought leader in the payments industry. He was named an Ultimate CEO by the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2024, is a member of The Wall Street Journal CEO Council, serves as a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development (CED), part of The Conference Board, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), where he has been elected 2026 President-Elect. ETA is the premier trade association for the global payments technology industry, providing strategic oversight for an organization representing over 500 member companies that process more than $56 trillion in annual transaction volume. He also helped establish the Georgia Fintech Academy, a pioneering talent development initiative in partnership with the University System of Georgia.

Deeply committed to community impact and philanthropy, Bruce supports the American Heart Association, Blood Cancer United (formerly Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), Dreams Come True, The King’s Trust in the UK, and numerous local initiatives in the Jacksonville area.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
