Bruce Lowthers was named CEO of Paysafe (NYSE: PSFE) in May 2022 and serves as Executive Director of the Board of Directors. A fintech veteran, philanthropist, and technology enthusiast, he has led a transformation of the company, realigning around a sales-first culture, streamlining operations, advancing innovation, and embracing AI to enhance customer experiences. Under his leadership, Paysafe has become a leader in payments for the experience economy, received multiple awards and industry accolades, and expanded its U.S. presence, including establishing its American headquarters in Jacksonville, twice honored as one of the Best Places to Work.
Before joining Paysafe, Bruce spent 15 years at FIS (NYSE: FIS), a Fortune 250 company, where he last served as President and helped guide the $15 billion global organization of 65,000 employees through significant growth and innovation. Earlier in his career, he co-founded four start-ups, launched two industry associations - the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) and Payments 20 (P20)- and held senior roles at eFunds.
Broadly recognized as an industry leader, Bruce was named an Ultimate CEO by the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2024, appointed to the board of the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), and in 2025 joined the Committee for Economic Development (CED) Advisory Board, part of The Conference Board.
Equally passionate about community impact, he supports the American Heart Association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Dreams Come True, The King’s Trust in the UK, and numerous local initiatives in Jacksonville. Bruce holds a BA in business administration from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
