Oct 08, 2018
paysafecard, part of global payments provider Paysafe Group, has been named winner in the ‘best overall payment service provider 2018’ category at the Central and Eastern European Gaming Conference (CEEG) Awards. The prepaid payments specialist was recognised at an awards ceremony in Budapest at the end of September.
As one of the most prestigious events in the online gaming sector, the CEEG Awards were established in 2016 and cover 20 categories relating to all aspects of gaming – from fantasy sports to sports betting and digital payments providers.
This latest award follows a series of accolades for Paysafe Group in 2018, including ‘payment solution of the year’ at the Global Gaming Awards in February, ‘payments company of the year’ at the EGR North America Awards in June, and paysafecard winning ‘best innovation in payments’ at the EGR B2B Awards in April.
Commenting on the win, Udo Müller, CEO of paysafecard, said: “I am very proud that our team has won the CEEG Award 2018 for the best overall payment service provider in the gaming sector, as further proof that paysafecard is the leading online prepaid payment method for gaming enthusiasts. We won’t rest on our laurels, and will take this award as further motivation to continue our commitment to offering gamers a safe and simple alternative payment method.”
