paysafecard named best ‘modern workplace’ at 2018’s ‘Great Place to Work’ awards
Mar 16, 2018
Prepaid company also ranked as Austria’s 10th best place to work in <250 employee category
Vienna, March 16th, 2018 – paysafecard, a market leader in online prepaid payment methods and part of Paysafe Group, has been named first in this year’s ‘Great Place to Work’ special ‘Modern Workplaces’ category, and ranked the tenth best Austrian company to work for with up to 250 employees. This latest accolade further recognises Paysafe Group as an employer of choice and follows other recent employee-voted awards for the Group, including being named the second-best place to work in Canada by Glassdoor.
Winners of the high profile ‘Great Place to Work’ awards are chosen by a senior judging panel that assesses the feedback provided through anonymous employee surveys for each of the participating companies. Past winners have included well known international companies such as T-Systems, Microsoft, Lidl and H&M.
The award also follows other wins for the paysafecard team who picked up both a regional and national award in the Austria Leading Companies (ALC) annual award programme. The national ALC awards programme recognises excellence in sustainable commerce and best employer practices.
paysafecard’s CEO, Udo Mueller, comments on the accolade: “To witness our company being recognised as a great place to work and the best modern working environment by industry peers and our employees means a lot to me. One of our top priorities is to develop an empowering and confident culture and I am very proud of the hard work and dedication of our teams. Without a shadow of doubt, our people are our greatest asset and we will continue to create a nurturing environment in which they can flourish.”
He added: “This milestone further reinforces our footprint as an employer in the fintech and payments space, and places us among the big brands and players in Austria.”
