Chief Legal & People Officer
Elliott joined Paysafe in 2011 and has a dual role leading Paysafe’s legal function and its people strategy.
On the legal side, Elliott has been Paysafe’s General Counsel for many years and leads a global legal team that manages the group’s legal work which includes commercial agreements, corporate transactions, company secretarial matters, litigation and data privacy.
On the people strategy side, Elliott oversees the company’s global HR and Corporate Communications functions and has responsibility for creating and executing a people strategy that supports the organization's mission, vision, and values. A critical part of this is ensuring Paysafe has a positive and inclusive work culture for employees that drives engagement, retention and attracts top talent.
Elliott started his career as a corporate lawyer working at Slaughter & May, Debevoise & Plimpton and Mishcon de Reya principally on M&A and other corporate transactions. He made his first move in-house when he became Senior Legal Counsel at MoneyGram with responsibility for legal affairs in their Northern Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
Elliott holds a MA in Geography from St Catherine’s College, Oxford.
