Meet Kate Gainard
Kate Gainard, owner and lead designer at A Dying Art Company Ltd, wasn't always tech-driven. Starting out as a painter and writer, she quickly realized her work would pay better upon her demise, so she pivoted slightly, putting her creative prowess to use in the digital world. Her expertise quickly expanded from branding and logo design to include web design & development, search engine optimization, content marketing & social marketing. You can find her looking up the latest Google algorithm trends, wrestling with one of her many dogs and cats, or creating something new & bizarre with her daughter.
We spoke with Kate about why she chose to work with Paysafe and what’s made the partnership such a success.
What attracted you to working with Paysafe? Were you experiencing a specific challenge you needed support to overcome?
Kate Gainard: I was initially contacted by a Paysafe representative, and, having used PayPal, Venmo, and Stripe exclusively up to that point for payment processing, I was very interested in learning more about Paysafe. Paying a monthly fee, instead of a per-transaction fee, is what really drew me in. As a small business, my invoices fluctuate significantly, so knowing my monthly expenses in advance is preferable to having a portion of every transaction taken by other providers.
How does Paysafe’s service help your company achieve its objectives?
KG: Having a dedicated account for my own business adds a nice touch of sophistication to my process. It’s also great to have recurring payment links and client-specific invoicing options in one place. And again, the monthly fee suits my business needs much better.
In addition to the fee structure, I’ve noticed that clients are more inclined to pay via the links sent to them. With my previous payment provider, they would have to create an account to make payment, which they were often reluctant to do.
Why would you recommend Paysafe to other companies like yours?
KG: It’s been great to collaborate with a company that values feedback and uses it to improve their product, as has been the case during my time working with Paysafe.
The security and ease of use, the fee structure, and the bespoke package make it a no-brainer for any business, really. I’m a relatively small business, but I see no reason this wouldn’t work amazingly for any size business.
If you could summarize the Paysafe experience in 3 words, what would they be?
KG: Easy. Safe. Advantageous.
